Terms of service

These terms apply when you use algoritmi.com.au or the Algoritmi Assist service provided by Algoritmi Solutions. By using them you agree to these terms.

The service

Algoritmi Assist is an AI sales assistant for online stores. It answers shoppers using information about your store, recommends products, collects shopper contact details for you, and keeps a record of its conversations. We add features over time and describe on our website which ones are available now.

Free trial

New customers get 14 days free, including up to 150 customer chats. No card is needed to start.

Founding 20 offer. The first 20 stores to take it up get the Growth plan for A$99 a month for 12 months from their first paid month, plus done-for-you setup at no charge. In return, you agree that we may ask for a short testimonial and, with your approval of the wording, use your store name and results in our marketing. After 12 months the plan continues at the standard Growth price unless you change or cancel it. The offer is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. At the end of the trial you can choose a plan or stop, and you won't be charged unless you choose a plan.

Plans and billing

Plans are billed monthly in Australian dollars. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. You can cancel at any time and your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change. If you installed our Shopify app, your plan is billed by Shopify on your Shopify bill instead, at the same total price, and Shopify's billing terms apply to those charges.

Instant previews

Only create a preview of a website you own or have permission to use. Previews read publicly available pages, are for evaluation only and expire after 3 days.

AI replies

The assistant is designed to answer only from your store's information and to hand over to you when it's unsure, but AI can still make mistakes. You're responsible for the accuracy of the store information you give us and for the products you sell. Please review the assistant's setup before going live.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, to collect information you're not entitled to, or to overload or attack the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your data and your customers' data

Your store data stays yours. For personal information about your customers and shoppers (for example chat messages, order details, emails and phone numbers), you control that information and we handle it on your behalf. We will:

• use it only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy, and never sell it or use it to train AI models;
• process only what the service needs, and share it only with the providers listed in our privacy policy who help run the service;
• protect it as described in our security and data breach policy, including encryption and limited staff access;
• honour your customers' choices, such as unsubscribing from reminder and review emails;
• tell you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data;
• delete order records after 24 months, and delete all of your store's data when you ask us or uninstall our Shopify app; and
• help you respond to your customers' requests to access or delete their information.

You're responsible for having a lawful basis to share your customers' information with us, and for your own privacy policy telling your customers that you use service providers like us.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the fees you paid for the affected period.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update them from time to time and will post the latest version here.
