How to get more Google reviews for your online store (without being pushy)

Reviews win new customers. Here's how Australian online stores can ask for more of them at the right time, the right way.

Most happy customers never leave a review, not because they don't want to, but because nobody asked at the right moment. A steady flow of genuine Google reviews makes every new shopper more confident.

Ask at the right moment

The best time is just after a good experience: a day or two after delivery, once they've used the product. Asking at checkout is too early. Asking a month later is too late.

Make it one tap

Send a direct link to your Google review form. Every extra step loses people.

Keep it genuine

  • Ask every customer, not just the ones you think are happy.
  • Never offer discounts or gifts in exchange for a review.
  • Don't write or post reviews yourself or ask staff to.
  • Reply to reviews, good and bad, politely and quickly.

Make it automatic

Algoritmi Assist can send a friendly review request a few days after delivery, at most once per customer per quarter, straight to your Google listing. It's one of the quiet ways it keeps bringing in new customers.
